Turner Signs has used products from Drytac to carry out a makeover at a secondary school in Doncaster ahead of a new headteacher taking over.
Barnsley-based Turner Signs was approached by a member of staff at Hall Cross Academy regarding a project to transform the premises.
Using a Mimaki CJV150 integrated printer/cutter the printing and cutting stage took two days, with a further two days required to complete the installation on-site.
The media used was a self-adhesive PVC film called Polar Grip, a high-bond adhesive which Drytac claims offers ‘five years of durability in both indoor and outdoor conditions.’
‘We needed strong adhesive for the wall graphics installed on brickwork,’ said Tuner Signs director Curt Turner. ‘I applied a sample to the wall of our workshop as a test run and it worked really well and was really easy to install. It comes away from the silicone material well and is very forgiving when fixing errors.’
